With Spring-like weather arriving early this year it's time to think about Spring clean-ups and green-ups. Now is the time to schedule your lawns aeration service along with an application of lime. You will see near immediate results. As well, if your property is within the City of Sherwood's water district you will be entitled to a $25 water rebate with any lawn core aeration service. On top of that, we will donate 20% of the total cost of the aeration to the Sherwood Education Foundation (SEF). See our "Services" page for pricing on aerations and schedule yours today. We'll even supply the rebate form with our receipt of service. If you do one thing for your lawn this year, it should be aeration. It will save you 10% to 20% in surface water usage due to run off and allow oxygen and nutrients access to where they need to be to best accommodate your lawn, while at the same time supporting the students and teachers of the Sherwood school district.

Winterize Your Irrigation System Now!

Although it doesn't get as cold here in the Northwest as it does in many parts of the country, it will certainly get cold enough at some point this winter season to freeze and damage your irrigation system. It's HIGHLY recommended that you winterize your irrigation system. Breaking a main-line can be very costly. At the very least, you should shut the water off now at the street that feeds your irrigation system. We'll be happy to perform this service for you, or you can do it yourself. Now that Fall has set in, it's time to think about "clean-up" projects and, believe it or not, next year. Winter fertilizer now can substantially benefit your turf next season. As well, we recommend fall core aeration along with late spring. Please do not let leaves stand on your turf areas for extended periods of time. This will certainly damage your lawn. After the leaves have fallen from the trees you may want to consider pruning. This can be accomplished at any time prior to the Spring new growth. Sherwood Raising Water Rates By 18%

It has just been announced that the City of Sherwood will be raising its water rates by 18% beginning in April. With water rates throughout the region on the rise, you can significantly reduce your water usage by aerating your lawns now. The Tualatin Valley Water District understands the importance in lawn aeration to help reduce water consumption, and thus offers a one-time rebate on lawn aeration services. We'll be happy to give you a free quote and put you on our schedule for this service. See our "services" page for information on how you may qualify for a "free" or significantly reduced aeration service based on your lawn size.

We offer standard lawn maintenance programs that include mowing, edging, blowing and clean-up of your lawn on a pre-set schedule as well as a variety of additional services throughout the year, such as: Seasonal Aeration, Thatching, Pressure Washing, Bark Placement, Weed Control, and Sprinkler Adjustments. As well as general lawn maintenance we do also now offer a "PRODUCTS PAGE" for our customers that actually like to do a lot of things themselves. Many times this can be much more cost affective than having us come out, especially if there are some miles between us. We only list and sell products that we truly believe in. There are some really cool things out there... YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT! Need Thatching? Why Rent a machine at $100 per day, or pay us $65 or more to do it for you when you can apply this product and let the enzymes do the work for you. The product is 1/2 or more of what it would likely cost to have us come out. This is just one example. It's not that we wouldn't love your business, we're just trying to reach a broader market in the sense of miles. The "Crab Grass Killer" is another wonderful product. Try to find something that kills that grass without killing everything else. Most professionals simply say to spray "Round-Up" and re-seed. Also some great lawn products if you have pets and are struggling with the "yellow spots".
